New Gig

I have been out of work for about 5 months now, and finally got a gig. I am taking a massive pay cut, but what is shocking is the reception I get on face to face interviews. I hadn't experienced this crap since mid 90's. Now, I am very good @ speaking & relaying information for my field/profession during interviews, so that's is not the issue.....You tell me? I KNOW what it is, but I can't understand why it is happening at this point in time in my career AND the fact that I have 13 + years experience, not out of shape (physically) and know my $H!!. I have been annoyed thoroughly with this predicament I am in.
